Girl Talk

She doesn’t say many words but she is one of the most communicative people I know. Her inflection is spot on. I’ll be working I’m my office and she comes in after her nap full of “Hi! Whatcha doin? I’m just gonna hang with you for awhile” and she says it all in her own little language but I know exactly what she’s saying because she does it so well.
Also, she loves to purposefully shut the door and lock the boys out—even Dan 😆 The sass. We’re our own cool club, she & I. Girls rule, boys drool ✌🏻#misslydiefaith

Lydie's Spot

Because she doesn’t walk independently yet, Dan carries Lydie on most of our adventures. If we’re hiking he uses a carrier but for casual outings she rides on his shoulders. It’s officially her “spot” and she loves it. I love them both. 💛

They do this thing where they tie rope to their bicycle handles and pretend they are riding a horse. And thankfully no one has crashed in the six months they’ve been doing it. 🙏🏻 #skillz

She Walks!!

STOP THE PRESSES!!! 😍😍😍 I once wondered if my baby would ever walk or run (which was somewhat silly to fear but we were also just praying she’d make it through her first year). I cried. Then I learned what a fighter she was, and started to imagine the day WHEN she would walk. And I cried. And then, after months of fighting and strengthening and cheering and practicing she DID walk. And you know I cried. What I learn from this girl, the joy she brings, sharing each day with her, best gift ever. #misslydiefaith #theluckyfew

Big Brother

This one is tough and fearless but is also a nurturer and boy does he just melt my heart to pieces when he looks after his sister. 💗
